When a new lead enters GoHighLevel, the workflow triggers via webhook and begins a real-time AI conversation. The system retrieves full conversation history from GHL, sends it to an AI trained on the client's business, answers questions, and asks qualifying questions around budget, needs, and timeline. Qualified leads are moved to the Qualified Lead stage automatically.

The client's sales team was spending 60%+ of their time talking to unqualified leads — people who didn't have the budget, weren't ready to buy, or weren't a good fit. Every lead got the same treatment regardless of quality, which meant the team was burning hours on dead-end conversations instead of closing deals.

How it works

  1. 01New lead enters GoHighLevel and triggers a webhook to Make
  2. 02Make retrieves the full conversation history from GHL via API
  3. 03Conversation context is sent to an AI agent trained on the client's business
  4. 04AI engages the lead — answers questions and asks qualifying criteria
  5. 05If lead is qualified → moved to Qualified stage in GHL Opportunities
  6. 06Sales team receives the lead with full AI conversation transcript
  7. 07If lead is not interested → conversation ends politely, no human needed
