ClickUp Agency Workspace & Automated Client Onboarding /Real Project
ClickUp workspace that sets up a new agency client in under a minute
Designed and built a complete ClickUp workspace for BluemarkAI, a B2B marketing agency. The workspace is structured around how the agency actually operates — not how ClickUp defaults think you should. Four main spaces: Clients, People, Marketing, and Delivery. Automated client onboarding creates folders, assigns tasks, and sets up the full client lifecycle in under a minute.

The problem
The agency was onboarding new clients manually — creating folders by hand, copying task lists, assigning team members one by one, and frequently missing steps in the setup process. Account managers and delivery teams were working from the same cluttered views, making it hard to switch context. New team members had no structured way to know what to do when a client signed.
How it works
- 01New client signs → team fills out the ClickUp onboarding form
- 02Automation creates a dedicated client folder with all required task lists
- 03Tasks are assigned to team members based on role — account managers get client-facing tasks, delivery gets execution tasks
- 04Onboarding checklist populates with every step needed to bring the client live
- 05Alternative manual path: team can use a reusable template to onboard by entering client details
- 06All client work is tracked in the Clients space — separate from internal Marketing and People spaces
- 07Delivery space gives the execution team a pure task-focused view without client noise
What I built
Built a 4-space ClickUp workspace separating Clients, People, Marketing, and Delivery — so account managers see client views and delivery teams see task views without mixing context. Created an automated onboarding flow triggered by a form submission that generates the full client folder structure, assigns tasks to the right team members by role, and walks the team through every onboarding step via a reusable template.
