Client Portal with Softr & Airtable /Real Project

Branded portal where clients check project status and documents

Built a comprehensive client portal integrating Softr's intuitive frontend with Airtable's robust database. Clients can log in, view their project statuses, access documents, and track progress — all synced automatically via Zapier.

The problem

The client was sharing project updates via email threads and spreadsheet links — clients had no self-serve way to check their project status, access documents, or see progress. This created constant back-and-forth messages and a poor client experience.

How it works

  1. 01Airtable database stores all project data — status, documents, milestones, notes
  2. 02Softr frontend provides a branded login experience for each client
  3. 03Client-specific views filter data so each client only sees their own projects
  4. 04Zapier syncs updates between the internal workspace and the portal in real time
  5. 05Document uploads appear in the portal automatically
  6. 06Status changes trigger email notifications to the client

What I built

Built a branded client portal using Softr as the frontend and Airtable as the database. Clients log in, see their project status in real time, access shared documents, and track deliverable progress — all synced automatically from the team's internal Airtable workspace via Zapier.
